Island Landscapes is a medium sized landscaping company based in the North of Essex and our 'working' area spreads from North Essex / Suffolk Border down to Kent including Greater London areas.

Simon Bland is Managing Director of Island Landscapes Ltd

Simon is founder of Island Landscapes in 1986 first as a small garden maintenance company, based on the Essex Island of Mersea. Together with association of a Landscape Architect, he widened the spectrum of services from Maintenance to Garden Design and later construction.

1994 Island Landscapes expanded and progressed to be a limited company, which relocated it's premises to the curretn location in Peldon, just off the Island. More housing developers and construction companies

sent their tenders to Island Landscapes and Island landscapes were able to recruit more staff to satisfy the market. It got more apparent that good trained staff can help to retain business and also ensure Health and Safety for staff and others on site and at private works alike.

Today, Island landscapes prides itself of having retained good reliable staff, some who have been even working with the company for over 12 years, who have the expertise to do any job that is required with sound knowledge.

The overall finish is important , as we take pride in our jobs. We retain our staff due to regular training and good team work!
